Parents Going Separate Ways

My parents have decided to have a separation after 24 years of marriage and it’s really tough for me to absorb. I’ve only known them together and the thought of them being apart is really foreign to me and I hate to see either of them sad. They both tell me they’re much happier now being apart than they were together which makes me at least feel better that they’re making this decision. I helped my dad find a good place to rent just outside of town and my mom’s going to stay in the old family house. She’s made some changes like adding www.Securitychoice.com security since she’ll be there by herself and adding a fence for the dog she’s finally going to get because my dad was always allergic. I hope my folks are okay with this decision and I’m happy if they’re happy even though it’s shaking my foundation a little bit since I grew up in a two parent household and now it’s really weird and unstable seeming…
